Role of a Buyer’s Agent

What is a Buyer’s Agent?

A buyer’s agent represents the buyer who is purchasing property in a real estate transaction. For anyone who is looking to buy a home or asking for any information on buying a home, We represent that buyer. The listing agent represents the seller. The seller pays our commission. Dual representation may occur if a buyer wishes to purchase a home which is listed by the buyer’s agent office and both the seller and buyer agree to dual representation. The confidentiality of all clients must be maintained in dual representation.

Why use a Buyer’s Agent?

Purchasing real estate is a complex and major transaction with many details that must be handled correctly. A buyer’s agent is responsible for protecting the buyer’s best interest. Using a buyer’s agent provides total commitment to the buyer, protection of the buyer’s interest, confidentiality and prevents conflict of interest.

Exclusive Right to Represent the Buyer

We provide the best possible service and representation for my buyers and we will ask you to reciprocate that loyalty. Agency representation must be stated at the time of our initial discussion of real estate. You should also note that we represent buyers for new homes being built. Buyers should be informed that the salesperson for new homes in new subdivisions represents the BUILDER.
